Hey, Forensic Campers!
I’ll be at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences annual meeting in Baltimore, MD, this week. In lieu of a post, I’m providing a link to a book review of Ethics and the Practice of Forensic Science (in its third edition!) by my friend and colleague Dr. Robin Bowen at West Virginia University. The review is by another friend and colleague, Dr. Peter Stout, CEO and President of the Houston Forensic Science Center, a leader in forensic science.
Dr. Bowen and her contributors have done an excellent job of comprehensively updating the new edition. The text covers a wide-ranging discussion of ethics from foundational philosophy to a solid and comprehensive appendix of ethical misconduct. This is all written in a readable fashion.
Buy a copy of Dr. Bowen’s book, please and thank you.1
If you’re at AAFS next week, say “Hi.” If not, there’s another post coming as soon as I recover.
I get no financial remuneration from sales of her books, just a warm feeling from promoting a colleague’s great work.
